2011 Young Bird 300 Mile Bond Race

FINAL RESULTS


1. The bond race will be flown from Flagstaff, Arizona in conjunction with the last 300 mile race of the young bird season. This is a distance of approximately 290 miles for the majority of the lofts located in Albuquerque.

2. The bond race will be released at the same time as the regular average speed race.

3. The cost of a bond will be $10.00 per bird or 12 for $100.00 on or before the shipping of the 1st race of the 2010 young bird season. Bonds may be purchased before the third young bird race for $15.00 each. After the shipping night of the third race bonds may be purchased but will cost $50.00 each.

4. The Los Lobos Racing Pigeon Club will take 10% of the total money for shipping costs.

5. Prize money will be paid as follows: 1st place = 35%, 2nd place = 20%, 3rd place = 10%, 4th through 10th places = 5%.

6. Paid members of Los Lobos Racing Pigeon Club can handle out-of-area birds or other paid member’s birds that are bonded in their loft. In the event that any of these birds are lost, the birds can be replaced by the handler’s own birds if it is agreeable with the out-of-area flyer or with the other paid member.

7. Bonds are not transferable between lofts.

8. If an out-of-area bird wins prize money, the out-of-area bird will receive 65% and the handler will receive 35% and will have the right to keep the bird.

9. Steve Guzman is the bond chairman. He will collect monies and distribute all prize money. He will provide an updated list of all bonds to all participants within a week of each bond deadline. In the event that any race committee member is unavailable, the club officers can appoint another committee member to fill in.

10. The bond race committee will be Steve Guzman, David Yates, and John Gutierrez. The bond committee will resolve any issues that may arise. All decisions of the bond race committee will be final.
